About the Sports Conditioning Specialist (SCS)
COURSES OBJECTIVES AND DOMAINS
- Is to equip the learner with the abilities to conduct a successful Personal Training sessions according to a written tailored program designed for healthy individuals to achieve pre planned goals that based on an accurate health and fitness assessment.
- The course is divided into five domains or modules “1. Professionalism, 2. Assessment 3. Exercise science, 4. Program design and 5. Personal Training.

COURSES PRE-REQUISITE
- 18 years old and up , Height School graduates or equivalent studies.
- Good command of Arabic and English language.
- Fair command of English language.
- Valid CPR & First Aid courses (for REPS level)
COURSE DURATION
- Total course duration with exam is 6 weeks for REPS and 4 weeks for NBFE.
- Teaching hours are 8 workshops X 6H each = 48H for REPS. 6 workshops x 6H each= 36 H for NBFE.
- Day 9th for REPS or day 7th for NBFE, is divided into two parts (3H revision + 3H MSQ)
- Total course hours are 54H for REPS and 42H for NBFE.
COURSE LANGUAGE
- Generally, the courses is taught in English and Arabic.
- The important expressions and titles will remain in English.
- Course Materials written in Basic English.
- All Level exams are written in English.
COURSE EXAMS AND SCORES
- Passing score is 70%, in all levels, 70% theoretical and 30% practical.
- FACTS – NBFE COURSE
Total of 100 points as follows: (50 MCQ) + 20 points on case study + 30 points on the practical exam “videotaping the same case study.
- FACTS – REPS COURSE
Total of 100 point as follow: (100 MCQ) + 20 points on case study + 30 point on practical exam “videotaping the same case study.
