ABOUT THE CERTIFIED FITNESS TRAINER COURSE

COURSES OBJECTIVES AND DOMAINS

  • Course objective Is to equip the learner with the abilities to conduct a successful Personal Training session according to a written tailored program designed for healthy individuals to achieve pre planned goals that is based on an accurate health and fitness assessment.
  • The course is divided into five domains or modules “1. Professionalism, 2. Assessment 3. Exercise science, 4. Program design and 5. Practical Personal Training.

COURSES PRE-REQUISITE

  • 18 years old and up, high school graduates or equivalent studies.
  • Good command of Arabic and English language.
  • Valid CPR & First Aid courses (Advanced and NASM levels)

 

COURSE DURATION

  • Foundation level duration with exam is 4 weeks, 3 workshops X 7H each. Day four is revision and final exam. Total guided/teaching hours are 28H plus around 72H of self-study, total 100H.
  • Intermediate level duration with exam is 6 weeks, 5 workshops X 7H each. Day six is revision and final exam. Total guided/teaching hours are 42H plus around 120H of self-study, total 162H.
  • Advanced level duration with exam is 10 weeks, 7 workshops X 7H each. Day eight is revision and final exam. Total guided/teaching hours are 56H plus around 210H of self-study, total 266H.
  • International NASM level duration with exam is 12 weeks, 9 workshops X 7H each. Day ten is revision and final exam. Total guided/teaching hours are 70H plus around 252H of self-study, total 322H.

 

COURSE LANGUAGE

  • Generally, the courses is taught in English and Arabic.
  • The important expressions and titles will remain in English.
  • Course Materials written in Basic English.
  • All Level exams are written in English.

 

COURSE EXAMS AND SCORES

  • Passing score is 70%, in all levels.
  • Foundation level, Total of 100 point as follow: (50 MCQ) + 50 point on practical observation/roleplays during the course.
  • Intermediate level, Total of 100 point as follow: (50 MCQ) + 20 points on case study + 30 point on practical exam “videotaping on the same case study.
  • Advanced level, Total of 100 point as follow: (100 MCQ) + 20 points on case study + 30 point on practical exam “videotaping on the same case study.
  • International NASM level, Total of 100 point as follow: (100 MCQ).
